Privacy Policy
Short version: PicToSize does not collect, send, or sell any data. Your photos stay on your device.
What the app does with your photos
- You choose photos with the system Photos picker, the Files app, or the Share button. PicToSize sees only the items you choose.
- PicToSize processes them on your device. It makes no network requests and has no servers.
- A working copy of each imported photo is kept in the app's own storage until you remove it or start over. It is excluded from device backups. Your original photo is never changed.
- When you save, PicToSize writes a new file. Location and other optional details (such as camera information) are removed from that file.
- "Save to Photos" asks for permission to add photos only. PicToSize cannot read your library with that permission.
Data stored on your device
Your settings and saved requirements are stored on your device only. Deleting the app deletes them.
The number of free exports used is also kept in this device's Keychain, so it stays if you delete and reinstall the app. It is a single number. It never leaves the device and is not synced to your other devices.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment. PicToSize receives only Apple's confirmation that the unlock was bought, which it uses to turn on the paid features. We do not receive your name, email, or payment details.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics, advertising, or tracking, and no third-party code that does these things
- No sharing or selling of data, because we do not collect any
Children
PicToSize collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
In the app
The same policy is in PicToSize: tap ••• → Privacy policy, or open it from the Unlock PicToSize screen.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If PicToSize ever starts to collect data, the App Store privacy details will change first.
